Influence of machining parameters in longitudinal-torsional ultrasonic vibration milling titanium alloy for milling force

To study the effect of different parameters on milling force for longitudinal-torsional ultrasonic vibration (LTUM) titanium alloy, kinematic theory LTUM is combined with model transient cutting thickness to establish equation, and experiment was carried out. The experimental results showed that positively correlated speed, depth, feed per tooth (milling increased by about 40% in increasing speed from 40 100 m/min, 300% depth cut 0.1 0.4 mm, 25% 0.01 0.04 mm). Milling negatively amplitude, tool helix angle reduced 22% amplitude 1 4 μm, 23% 30 45°). minimized when μm; 60 m/min; mm; mm/z, 40°. Furthermore, empirical established, accuracy verified data.
